Compare this to the same company five years ago, which would have had twelve to twenty people doing similar work, plus a constant stream of contractors and agencies. How to think about the transition

Most companies don't get to design the AI-augmented marketing team from scratch. They get to transition an existing team. The shape of that transition matters more than the destination.

The healthiest pattern starts with one agent in one well-defined function. Ad performance analysis is usually the right first move. The data is structured, the KPIs are clear, the cost of being wrong is bounded (you re-run a report).
